Initially, at our pre-op meeting, I found Mr Lakdawala a little stern and did not feel totally at ease in his presence. I felt a little like I was a nuisance and just another patient on the NHS conveyor belt. One amongst many. However, once he met me in the ward (day of the procedure), subsequently post op and later in the out patients clinic for the follow up, I found him more approachable, he seemed more relaxed and warmer and at ease. That helped to put me at ease throughout the entire experience. I felt as if I had finally met the real persona behind Mr Lakdawala, not the Consultant. My new knee is healing well and I wish to thank Mr Lakdawala for his expertise and commitment to his work.

Really, really happy with my visit. Actually received close to a miracle on my very first appointment. It all just ran so smoothly - no waiting 6 weeks for this and another 6 weeks for that. It’s how it should be. Came away feeling uplifted and unphased by what lies ahead. We talked through options and Mr Lakdawala explained why (not just what) He was kind, caring and has a sense of humour. Thank you
